Our Beliefs

Mission Statement

Our mission is to strengthen Christian families by equipping husbands and wives to build marriages that honor God.
We are committed to raising up men as spiritual leaders of their homes and encouraging women to embrace their God-given roles as faithful helpmates.

  

Partnering with local churches, we help develop and support family-focused ministries including marriage, parenting, men’s, and women’s programs through conferences, mentoring, and hands-on ministry engagement.


Rooted in our own journey of loss and redemption, we embody the truth that God restores the broken. Through leadership conferences and trauma minded support, we seek to nurture those on the frontlines of family ministry and walk with others as they find renewal and hope in Christ.

Statement of Faith

TBR Ministries affirms the following foundational beliefs:

  1. The Bible (the 66 canonical books) is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, the final authority for faith and life.  (2 Timothy 3: 16-17)

  2. God exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  (1 John 5:6-12)

  3. Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again, and will return in glory.  (John 1:14, Hebrews 4:15, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

  4. Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.  (Ephesians 2:8-9)

  5. God wonderfully and immutable creates each person biological male or female.  These two distinct but complementary sexes together reflect the image and likeness of God.  Rejection of one's biological sex is a rejection of God's merciful design and creative order.  (Genesis 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9, Deuteronomy 22:5)

  6. The Holy Spirit empowers believers to live in obedience and service.  (Philippians 2:12-13)

  7. Christian marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God as a reflection of Christ’s relationship with the Church.  (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:25)

  8. The Church is the body of Christ, called to proclaim the Gospel, disciple believers, and serve the world.  (Matthew 28:18-20)
